2nd of November: Figuring out the pages

Today was our first day back into this lesson after half term. We immedietly started planning all the different pages we will be creating. We tried to figure out how much each section should get. For example for my TV/Film page I will only get 1 page because we want the magazine to be simple and short so people don’t get put off of it which is why we’re trying to do as less as possible. Having 1 page gives more room for other subjects to be in the magazine which helps it appeal to more people. Our audience is the Stanmore college students, and there’s a huge range of students here from all kinds of backgrounds and have all kinds of interest, so it’s hard to figure out what to put in and what to take out. Once we decided how much we’d all get for the magazine we started to work on our articles and the design. I focused on how I want to lay out my page.
